Our online Medical Coding program prepares you for a career in the growing, in-demand profession as a medical biller and coder. Medical coders read and review medical documentation provided by healthcare providers in order to obtain detailed information regarding diseases, injuries, surgical operations and other medical procedures. This detailed information must then be translated into numeric codes for reporting purposes. Earning your medical assistant degree online will help you gain in-depth knowledge of medical coding through intense, real-world courses. You will learn how to assign and sequence diagnostic and procedural codes using a universally recognized coding system.

Our Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Administrative Assistant provides a comprehensive curriculum to assist you in finding employment in the medical office field. Our Medical Assistant degree program emphasizes mastering the language of medicine and how it is used in conjunction with the body systems, as well as giving basic overviews in coding, medical math, pharmacology and medical law to prepare you to use your Medical Administrative Assistant degree in or outside of Ohio.

Required paperwork, data analysis, cost control and governmental regulations create thousands of jobs each year that must be filled. Some administrative positions allow crossover with patient care and medical office work. Graduates of the Medical Assistant degree program are prepared for entry-level employment as administrative medical assistants in hospitals, physicians? offices, nursing care facilities, outpatient care centers and laboratories. In-depth Dental Assisting curriculum:-
Our Associates Degree in Dental Assisting will prepare you to work in the dental assisting field. From general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics to pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics, many opportunities are available to a dental assistant. Our curriculum includes administrative training that will enable you to work in administrative offices, as well as clinical settings. An internship, along with more advanced computer classes, will help you enter the workforce with advanced clinical and clerical skills in the dental field. Successful graduates will be prepared to fill entry-level dental assisting positions.
Responsibilities of a dental assistant:- Dental assistants perform a variety of patient care and office and laboratory duties. Our students gain the knowledge base to perform clinical chairside duties, including, but not limited to, charting patient treatments, applying topical anesthetics, placing rubber dams and temporary crowns, and mixing cements for molds. Students also learn to take and process radiographs in standard film and digital radiography. The programs also allow students to do many lab duties such as take preliminary impressions; study casts; pour and trim models; and make nightguards, splints and bleaching trays. Upon graduation from this Mississippi Dental Assisting degree program, students will have a complete understanding and working knowledge of OSHA regulations in infection control, sterilization and regulated medical waste.
A comprehensive Medical Assisting program:-
Our Associate of Applied Business degree in Medical Assisting is designed to provide you with skills necessary to work side-by-side with physicians as a medical assistant. Hands-on clinical training in vital signs, physical exams, EKG lead placement, venipuncture, urinalysis and medication administration will prepare you to assist physicians and other members of healthcare teams.
Our courses also train you to perform both administrative and clinical duties, such as scheduling appointments, updating patient files, administering medications and performing basic laboratory tests. Our program includes administrative training in word processing, medical office procedures and advanced computer classes, along with pharmacology and public speaking.
